For grades with specified chemical and mechanical requirements, the relevant test results are reviewed against the ordered grade and standard.

Chemical analysis may include grade-specific elements such as carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus and sulfur.
The applicable acceptance values depend on the steel grade and standard stated in the order.

For galvanized and coated steel, coating requirements are checked in addition to basic dimensions and surface condition.
For galvanized steel, inspection may include:

The galvanized steel specifications currently published on the website include coating levels such as Z30–Z275.
The required coating level should be confirmed against the buyer's specification before supply.
